2. Marinating, brining and rubs
Inject some flavour into your BBQ. Whether you’re grilling vegetables, lean-meat, seafood, or whole roasts a bit of preparation goes a long way. BBQ Tip 2: Marinades and Rubs

3. Smoking
Looking for smoking tips? David Wall from The Pork Shop suggests adding soaked hardwood chips to your grill to impart that wonderful smoked meat flavour to whatever you are grilling. BBQ Tip 3: Smoking

4. BBQ Sauce
Why not exercise your culinary creativity and make your own BBQ sauce? Or try one our Taste of Nova Scotia products. BBQ Tip 4: BBQ Sauce

5. Throw another shrimp on the barbie
Don’t let another summer go by without discovering the magic of fresh grilled seafood! It’s incredibly easy to cook almost any type of seafood on your BBQ, no special racks, pots or instruments needed. BBQ Tip 5: Grill Your Seafood
