Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day – Nova Scotia Style

If you’re looking for a night of musical entertainment, a delicious meal or even just a friendly pint – here are some suggestions to ensure your best green outfit doesn’t go to waste.

1. The Port Pub

Each course will be complimented by a selection of ale from Sea Level Brewing. Live entertainment, provided by “Swig” will start at 8:00 p.m..  Courses include Atlantic Crab Fritter, Pistachio Crusted Halibut, Prosciutto-wrapped Pork Tenderloin and Gingerbread Stout Cake. Tickets:  $39.99.

2. Governor’s Pub

Photo of dish from Govenors PubJoin Governors Pub in Sydney for their St. Patrick’s Eve Bash on Saturday, March 16, from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.. The Yarnells, Heartwood Slacks and Bella Rebellion will be playing all night to keep you on your feet. Cover is $10.

And in case you didn’t have enough fun the evening before, be sure to stop by Governors for continued festivities all day long on March 17.

3. Paddy’s Pub

If you’re looking to start things off after lunch, Paddy’s Brewpub & Rosie’s Dining Room will have live music all day long. Join artists Jack MacDonald, Mike Milne, and Gordon Tucker from 1:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. for a full day of laughter and fun. Paddy’s has locations in both Wolfville and Kentville. Be sure to save room for some Irish Stew!
