Press Release
Dartmouth, N.S. – Propeller Brewing Company, Nova Scotia’s largest independently owned and operated brewery, is adding a new beer to their seasonal rotation. The brewery has announced the release of Propeller Irish Red Ale.

Propeller crafted this beer in honour of St. Patrick’s Day. The brew will officially launch Thursday, March 13, 2014.

Propeller’s Brewmaster, Josh Adler, describes the Irish Red Ale as a tribute to the classic red ales of Ireland. The recipe brings together roasted malt sweetness with an earthy hoppiness for a full-flavoured, yet balanced brew.

“As brewers we’re always looking to the season for inspiration for our brews. With its darker colour and easy drinking profile, this Irish Red really speaks to this time of year,” says Adler.

Andrew Cooper, marketing director at Propeller Brewing Company, says, “Whether you’re Irish or Irish for the day, this beer will not disappoint.”

Brewer’s tasting notes:

Propeller Irish Red Ale will be available throughout March in 650ml single serve bottles and Growlers at Propeller Cold Beer Stores. Single serve bottles will also be available at select private relaters. Propeller Irish Red is now on draught at several pubs and restaurants across Nova Scotia.
