The time for green beer, green hats, Irish tunes, comfort food and good times has nearly arrived! Raise a glass (or two) to the occasion at some of the celebrations happening around Nova Scotia in honour of St. Patrick’s Day.

If you’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Molly Malone and Danny Boy – you’ll want to raise a few pints in merry song as well. PropellerGarrison, Saltbox Brewing Company, Meander River  Farm & Brewery, Boxing Rock Brewery, Schoolhouse Brewery, Wayfarers’ Ale, Sober Island Brewing Company and Rare Bird have some great local ales to help with your celebrations.

Catch the live performance by Broke with Money at The Union Street for your St. Paddy’s day celebrations. Performance starts at 8 p.m. and there is no cover charge.

Go green for Paddy’s Day at Paddy’s Pub! There will be an all day Irish celebration with live music and good cheer. Performers appearing in the pub: 12 to 3 p.m. Gordon Tucker, 4 to 7 p.m. Paddy’s Irish Session Band and 8 p.m. to close Jack MacDonald.
