Good Cheer Trail

At Saltscapes, we’re introducing Canada’s first winery, craft brewery and distillery trail…

Discover new favourites as you explore the Nova Scotia Good Cheer Trail. Sample locally produced wine, beer and spirits from over 30 locations across the province. Meet passionate Nova Scotia artisans and taste local cuisine paired perfectly with your drink. From Yarmouth to Cape Breton, the trail weaves through stunning landscapes, heritage sites, beaches, cities and farmlands.

On the Saltscapes stage we’ll have a wine and cheese pairing with Luckett Vineyards and Grape Escapes, a Cooking with Beer session with Henry Pedro (Boxing Rock) and chef Graeme Ruppel (Stillwell) as well as a mixology demo with Field Guide‘s Shane Beehan. It’s a small taste of what you’ll discover on the Good Cheer Trail (launching June 1, 2015).

Chowder Cook-Off

Cheer on local chefs as they compete in the Taste of Nova Scotia Chowder Cook-off at Saltscapes Expo. Chef Thomas Carey from Pictou Lodge is back to defend his title against chefs from Yarmouth to Cape Breton – sample your way through this three-day competition to determine the best chowder in the province!
