This week, sip your way through the last bits of winter at the Nova Scotia Icewine Festival, pretend it’s summer at the Craft Beer Cottage Party or indulge in all things maple at multiple maple brunches happening across the province. March 2: Craft to Craft Night

Let the “beer-spiration” flow for an evening of crafting at Oak Island Resort. Sip on craft beer from Saltbox Brewing Company and design a spring-inspired painted pillow! RSVP necessary.

March 3: Craft Beer Cottage Party

Head back to those long summer days by the lake at Savour Food & Wine Festival’s Craft Beer Cottage Party! Sample craft beer, listen to live music, play some washer toss and escape the winter blues.

March 3 and 4: Icewine Festival

Don’t miss the second weekend of winter fun at the Nova Scotia Icewine Festival. Featuring wines from across Nova Scotia, paired with thoughtful edibles from local chefs, the Icewine Festival at Lightfoot & Wolfville is an incredible way to spend an afternoon (or a weekend) tasting, touring, and experiencing Nova Scotia Wine Country in the winter.

March 4: Maple Brunch

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. join The Flying Apron at their annual maple brunch buffet. Enjoy a menu of buttermilk pancakes with Nova Scotia maple syrup, maple sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs (local, pasture raised eggs), baked beans, herb roasted organic potatoes and maple pecan tarts.

March 4: Yoga & Wine

Vino and vinyasa – what a relaxing combo! Take part in yoga by the fireplace at Planters Ridge followed by a wine tasting and a tour of the winery.

March 4: Acadian Maple Brunch

Acadian Maple is hosting their maple brunches again from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 4. Menu includes: fluffy pancakes with mixed berries, maple sugar whipped topping, Acadian Maple syrup and maple sausages. In case you miss it – future maple brunch dates are March 11 and 18.

FULL HOUSE Craft Beer Fest 2018 (May 5) – The flagship event for Nova Scotia Craft Beer Week is returning for its fourth year, showcasing a huge selection of beers from all around the province.

12 Tides (May 11) – Discover Nova Scotia’s premium white wine at the Tidal Bay Annual Release and Tasting Event, hosted at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel on May 11, 2018, from 7-10pm.

Devour! Fox Harb’r Weekend Getaway (May 18 to 20) – Fox Harb’r Resort is delighted to host once again the Nova Scotia created food & film festival, a celebration of culinary and cinema, with an added splash of comedy. Hosted by CBC personality, stand-up comic, actor and chef Ali Hassan.

East Coast Cider Festival (June 16) – That’s right folks, the East Coast Cider Festival back for another year. 2018 will be bigger and better, there will also be the option to choose between one of two sessions.
