It’s Craft Beer Week in Nova Scotia!

The patios are open, and the beers are flowing. One of the most anticipated weeks for lovers of local craft brews has finally arrived! From Halifax’s own Garrison Brewing Company and Propellor Brewing Company to features from Cape Breton to the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia Craft Beer Week is sure to have a brew for everyone. Here’s what’s cooking in Nova Scotia for the week of May 10-17, 2016.

Battery Park Beer Bar & Eatery

A Walk in the Park: May 10

Battery Park Beer Bar & Eatery combines brewer, chef and farmer in this evening of tastes and great brews. Beginning with an oyster and beer reception followed by a 5 course dinner including craft beer pairings. There are still a few tickets available so act fast!

Craft Beer Week Royal Rumble: May 12

A show-down craft brew style! Join Nova Scotia craft brewers for an evening of brew battles. Special one-off brews will compete for the title of Nova Scotia’s Craft Beer Heavyweight Champion. You and your belly are the judge, first keg empty wins. If the beer isn’t enticing enough be sure to enjoy some of the delicious menu items offered at The Stubborn Goat Gastropub, might we suggest some of their many types of mac n’ cheese?

NS Craft Beer Week Full House 2016

Full House Craft Beer Fest: May 14

A full house and a full glass! This event presented by the Nova Scotia Craft Brewers Association features twenty craft breweries and samples a plenty. Ticket price includes: 16 0z belgian style beer glass and four 12 oz samples. Be sure to visit the Taste of Nova Scotia stage to learn about the 2016 NS Good Cheer Trail featuring breweries, ciders, distilleries and wineries.
