What’s Cooking in Nova Scotia October 18 to 25, 2016?

Argyler Lodge Haddock Francese

It’s easy to feel run down this time of year –  it seems like everyone is sleep-deprived or coming down with that nasty cold. This week, do something that recharges your batteries, whether that means escaping for a weekend getaway or contributing to growth in your community. If you’re in need of a cure, never underestimate the mysterious healing powers of a hot meal and a tall glass of wine. That is what Hippocrates meant by “let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”, right?
