This week is brimming with events and food festivals featuring the best of Nova Scotia wine, beer, and even sausage! Read on and get geared up for what this week has in store, but remember to save room for next week’s festivities, too!

September 20-24: Festival of Wines

In case the mere name of this festival isn’t enticing enough, this event is a vino-lover’s dream that boasts plenty of new events whether you’re a total wine expert or more of a newbie. September 20-25: Halifax Sausage Fest

Local Connections’ Halifax Sausage Fest is exactly what it sounds like- a massive roundup of unique sausage creations from some of your favourite local spots. September 22: Portland Street Block Party

September 23: Grapely Ghost Walk

Halifax’s first-ever cask beer festival, Cask Beer Throwdown, is brought to you by Local Connections as part of Halifax Sausage Fest. This time, sausage takes a step back to give some of Nova Scotia’s best craft beer the spotlight. From Garrison to Propeller, can you really go wrong with sampling local brews?
