Wild Caraway Foraging Dinner 2014

You don’t get much more local than the Foraging Dinner at Wild Caraway Restaurant & Café. The menu is a secret for now, but as a teaser, take a look at the 2014 menu. Still spots available for the 5:00 p.m. seating. Cost: $60 for 7 courses Reservations: 902-392-2889.

June 24- North End Craft Beer and Food Tour

Friday date night will be one to remember thanks to Local Tasting Tours. Visit local craft breweries and restaurants – be sure to bring your Good Cheer Trail passport with you, North End Brewing Co. and Propeller Brewing Company have their stamps waiting! Lane's Privateer Inn Oysters

June 24 – 26- Liverpool Privateer Days

A step back in time to 1780 is sure to open eyes, fill bellies and create many memories this weekend in Liverpool. Activities for all ages, and some fun for after hours as well. Be sure to stop by the events happening at Lane’s Privateer Inn, and stay for lunch or dinner (or overnight!). A few events not to be missed include the Ironworks Distillery Rum Run and the sure to be popular Hell Bay Brewing Co. Beer & Entertainment Tent. June 25 – Haskap Open Day

Tour the fields and learn all that the haskap berry has to offer! Who doesn’t enjoy ice cream, but it’s even better made with delicious haskap berries. June 25- Anniversary Dinner

July 2- Legacy Workshop 

Always wanted to brew your own whiskey? Caldera Distilling Inc.. are masters and they’re going to help you brew. From the crop to cultivation to distilling you will be involved in every step of making your own whiskey. Tickets: Caldera Legacy Workshop.

July 6- Chef’s Table 

Agricola Street Brasserie has launched their chef’s table, featuring a six course meal cooked at the kitchen counter this opportunity is not to be missed. Tickets: Chef’s Table at The Kitchen Counter.

July 10 – Yoga & Wine

Dust off that yoga mat! Try some delicious Nova Scotia wines and practice your yoga poses. Join Sainte-Famille Wines for Vino and Vinyasa or visit Planter’s Ridge Winery for Vino & Vinyasa on the estate.

June 30- Chaine des Rotisseurs 

Fundraiser dinner at NSCC’s “Fresh Twenty-One” Menu: Roast pig, brochettes of variety and various cocktails. All funds raised will be going to support Culinary National Junior Championships in Vancouver, BC. Tickets: $75 Reserve Yours: Fundraising Event for Nationals.
