Lunenburg County Winery at Hackmatack Farm

Lunenburg County Winery

The winery sits on a drumlin surrounded by Acadian Forest and a multitude of lakes, in the community of Newburne, nestled along the North branch of the LaHave River. Located at Hackmatack Farm, a commercial blueberry farm, the winery has produced 26 different 100 per cent Nova Scotia-grown, award-winning fruit wines since 1993.

Come take a pleasant drive into the country and visit, taste wine, pick berries, picnic and tour the winery. A selection of our wines are available at all NSLC stores throughout the province. We’re located 25 minutes from the UNESCO Heritage Site, Old Town of Lunenburg, or Mahone Bay.

    Hi Heather,
my brother Christian last year`s summer talked to you or your husband about an 2 apple trees that we would like to plant in memory of our mother Sigrid an Shingle Lake. My brother kept in his mind that you recommended a nursery near Chester.
What nursery would you recommend and how is its name?
