Maple Apple Crisp

Directions

  1. Preheat over to 375°.
  2. Scoop apples into 9” x 13” baking pan, toss with maple syrup.
  3. In a separate bowl mix flour, oats, brown sugar and salt and cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Bake for 35—40 minutes until crumb topping is golden.

    I fix this dessert for nearly every potluck we attend and receive raves from everyone who tries this dessert. Given that we live in Oregon, I substitute home grown honey crisp apples (in season) and the highest quality syrup I can buy at the local grocery store
