Eggnog Smoothie

One of the many fun ways you can enjoy Valley Flaxflour and Eggnog over the holidays. This smoothie is bound to become a festive favourtie, perhaps even part of a new family tradition!

Ingredients

 2 cups (500 ml)  Eggnogg (we suggest: Fox Hill)
1/4 cup  Valley Flaxflour Golden flax flour
 1  Golden Delicious apple (try: Noggins Corner Farm Market, Stirling Fruit Farm or Scotian Gold)
 1 tbsp  Bourbon, or Ironworks rum (optional)
 Crushed ice (optional)
 Whipped cream and cinnamon (optional)

Directions

  1.  Combine eggnog, flaxflour and apple in a blender until smooth
  2.  Optional: Add crushed ice and bourbon, as desired
  3.  Optional: Top with whipped cream and cinnamon
  4.  Serve with a straw
