Bittersweet Sparkler
At the Saltscapes Expo, Steve “Crusher” from 2 Doors Down mixed up some delicious local drinks for the audience. Here is his recipe for the Bittersweet Sparkler.
Ingredients
½ oz | Ironworks Distillery Vodka |
2 oz | Haskapa, Haskap Berry Juice |
Ginger Syrup | |
Bulwark Cider | |
Directions
- Combine vodka, juice and ginger syrup in a cocktail shaker.
- Shake lightly and pour into cocktail glass of your choice.
- Add ice and top with Bulwark Cider.
Ginger Syrup
- Combine 1 cup of simple syrup (see Riptide recipe) with 1 Tbsp of fresh shredded ginger.
- Shake.
- Let sit 24 hours.
- Strain into container.
