You are invited to our ninth annual Nova Scotia Food & Wine Dinner Party. On Saturday evening at 7p.m., join us for a feast of local food and wine. Chef Martin has spent the week at the farmers’ markets and with local producers to come up with this great-tasting menu that will be paired with local wines:  

First Course

Nova Scotia cold water shrimp ‘cocktail’ sandwich,
crispy russet potato chip, Dijon mustard crust

10′ L’Acadie Vineyards, Vintage Cuvee

Second Course
In house cured Valley pork jowl and savoy cabbage salad,
Rancher Acres goat’s cheese, our own pickled beets

11′ Gaspereau Vineyards, Warner Riesling

Third Course
Roasted garlic velouté with poached Hutton Family Farm vegetables;
salsify, baby turnips,  butter cauliflower, parsley root, celeriac

10′ Domaine de Grand Pre, Vintner’s Reserve L’Acadie

Fourth Course
Oulton’s Farm stuffed Guinea fowl, Quebec foie gras mousse,
Yukon gold pomme purée, baby organic carrots, gravy

08′ Gaspereau Vineyard’s, Pinot Noir

Dessert
Nova Scotia grown peanut butter pie, peanut nougat,
homemade Nova Scotia wild blueberry jam ice cream, peanut brittle

Luckett Vineyard’s, Cordelia Blackberry Port
