This will be used in Good Cheer Trail promotional materials. It should characterize your business/experience and what makes it “unique and memorable” for visitors, and any other necessary information. Name of Brewer/Cidermaker/Distiller/Meadmaker/Winemaker: Section 3 Required Standards for Participation - Adherence to these standards is required for participation in the Nova Scotia Good Cheer Trail. Provides a Nova Scotia winery, craft brewery, cidery or distillery experience for consumers. Business is a member in good standing with one of more of the following associations: Taste of Nova Scotia, Wine Growers of Nova Scotia, Craft Brewers Association of Nova Scotia, Craft Distillers Association of Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia Cider Association Craft Brewery applicants must have a full mash brew system on site. Provide certificate of insurance showing liability, along with liquor liability where applicable, with a limit of insurance of $2,000,000.00 or greater. Business has obtained all legal requirements, necessary licences and permits. There is a First Aid kit available on-site. There is at least one staff member on duty at all times trained in First Aid. A Risk Management plan is in place to deal with emergencies such as fire, illness, etc. Public premises are clean, free of hazards and in good state of repair. There is visible signage at entrance to business. Clean toilet facilities with hand washing stations are available to customers. (Port-a-potties and portable hand-washing stations are acceptable) Hours of operation are clearly indicated and adhered to. (‘By appointment only' is acceptable) Business is open from June to October each year. A safe place for parking is maintained at each site or public parking is clearly marked and accessible nearby. I have read the Good Cheer Trail Participant Overview and declare that I meet all applicable Criterial and Required Standards, I agreed to notify the Good Cheer Trail of any changes to my business resulting in no longer meeting all required standards. I understand that my business may be inspected during the operating season to ensure that all Good Cheer Trail standards are being met, and that if the standards are found to not be met, my participation in the Good Cheer Trail may be suspended.
