What’s in a chowder? Potatoes, no potatoes; lobster, no lobster; — everyone has a favourite chowder and a different idea of what makes the perfect bowl and the Nova Scotia Chowder Trail is the perfect opportunity to discover yours.

This year, there are three easy ways to enjoy the Chowder Trail: the passport, the Good Cheer Trail website and the new Taste of Nova Scotia mobile app! Keep reading for everything you need to know.

Trail Stops

On the Nova Scotia Chowder Trail, you get to discover all the unique and delicious chowders this province has to offer. With trail stops from Yarmouth to the tip of Cape Breton, there’s a bowl of chowder for everyone!

Passports

Collecting stamps has never been easier! In addition to our paper passports and the website, you can now use the Taste of Nova Scotia app to collect stamps!

Collect stamps on the mobile app by following these simple steps:

Step 1:  Download the Taste of Nova Scotia app on Google Play or the App Store and create your profile.

Step 2:  Select “Passport” in the menu at the bottom of your screen and choose which trail you want to stamp.

Step 3:  Press the green “Stamp My Passport” button.

Step 4:  Select the stop you’re at.

It’s that easy!

Stamps can also still be collected by creating an account on the website or picking up a physical passport at any participating trail stop locations.
