Bittersweet Sparkler

At the Saltscapes Expo, Steve “Crusher” from 2 Doors Down mixed up some delicious local drinks for the audience. Here is his recipe for the Bittersweet Sparkler.

Ingredients

½ oz Ironworks Distillery Vodka
2 oz Haskapa, Haskap Berry Juice
Ginger Syrup
Bulwark Cider

Directions

  1. Combine vodka, juice and ginger syrup in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake lightly and pour into cocktail glass of your choice.
  3. Add ice  and top with Bulwark Cider.

Ginger Syrup

  1. Combine 1 cup of simple syrup (see Riptide recipe) with 1 Tbsp of fresh shredded ginger.
  2. Shake.
  3. Let sit 24 hours.
  4. Strain into container.
