Masstown Market’s Fish and Chip Boat

What’s going on? The Fish and Chip Boat is a sure sign of summer for Masstown Market enthusiasts. Spending a sunny lunch time on the boat is the easy decision; what you’ll order is the tough part. Fish and chips, or a clam sandwich- what’ll catch your fancy?
Train Station Inn
Opens: Rooms available now; Dining Car opens May 15
Great for: Taking a step back in time
What’s going on? Prepare for a blast from the past when you stay at the Train Station Inn. Learn all about its 128 year history and enjoy a savory meal in the railway dining car. As an added bonus, plan for a trip down the road to Jost Vineyards.
Old Fish Factory Restaurant and Ice House Bar

The Red Shoe Pub

Great for: A true Celtic ceilidh
What’s going on? Islanders know how to throw a party, so it’s fitting that The Red Shoe Pub would kick off their season with a ceilidh. Stop by on opening night to catch music from Kenneth MacKenzie, Wendy MacIsaac and more. Our toes are tapping already!
Glenora Inn & Distillery

Great for: An afternoon of spirits and culture
What’s going on? While Glenora Inn & Distillery is open year round, the Inn is kicking off a summer of daily ceilidhs starting on May 29. Take a tour of the distillery, sample the rum and then head to the Inn to hear the sounds of traditional Celtic music. Be sure to get your Good Cheer Trail passport stamped as well!
