Since 1980, the Laceby family has served regionally inspired cuisine to locals and visitors alike. Dinner is prix fixe. Soup, salad, main course (choice) and dessert (choice). The offering changes each evening to reflect diversity and what’s in season, locally. Everything is made and baked in-house. In season much of the herbs and produce are supplied by the extensive on-site gardens, which you can tour. The dining room boasts a star from Where to Eat in Canada, and overlooks the Northumberland Strait. It has a commanding view of the sea. Book early, as dining is by advance reservation only and it is limited. there is one sitting at 7:30 p.m. each evening. Craft beers and spirits are available and the wine list features a good selection of Nova Scotia wines.
