Lane’s Privateer Inn has been an important part of Liverpool’s history. This family-owned business is located along the Mersey River and produces celebrated dining and a gourmet café. Nearly the entire menu is available for take-out, and they will even pack a picnic lunch for your convenience.

If you prefer to pick your own picnic items, grab some locally-made bread by Boulangerie la Vendéenne at Lane’s on your way to Fort Point Lighthouse Park (as seen in picture above)… but don’t forget the jam! Helen B’s Preserves are sold here as well to add a Nova Scotian element to every part of your meal.
