March 3 & 10: Flying Apron: Maple Brunch Buffet
Maple season is upon us. To celebrate this sweet treat, The Flying Apron is hosting its fifth annual Maple Brunch Buffet, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 3rd and 10th! Brunch items include: buttermilk pancakes, maple syrup, Oulton’s bacon, scrambled eggs and more. Reservations are required so contact them now to guarantee your spot for a delicious, maple-inspired brunch.

March 3: The Watch That Ends The Night Dinner Series
As the brainchild of Chef Janie Bogardus, Barometer Rising will be a dinner series hosted by The Watch That Ends The Night featuring culinary trained individuals who are early in their careers and eager to make waves in the food industry. The eight course menu for the evening will showcase three producers: Getaway Farms, Very Local Greens and The Alderney Market. Each dinner will be held bi-monthly.

March 4: Celebrating Steinhart
There is a very exciting celebration happening for Steinhart Distillery at The Townhouse Brewpub & Eatery. Steinhart’s spirits and beers will be featured in your glass and on your plate. Call or drop by the restaurant to purchase and reserve your spot. You will not want to miss out!

Mardi Gras Masked Ball (March 5) – Stay tuned for WINEGRUNT’s upcoming Mardi Gras Masked Ball Event featuring guest speakers, live dixieland jazz, a guest winemaker and wine pairings and a special carnevale-themed menu. Tickets and more details will soon be made available.
“Secret” Food Show Filming (March 6) – Sugar Moon Farm is hosting a film crew from a “secret” food show and looking to fill their restaurant with 50 – 60 happy guests, at no cost to you. Must be available from 10 a.m. to at least 3 p.m., happy to eat Sugar Moon Farm food and drink, and prepared to sign a release to be on camera. All ages are welcome. Decadence (March 7) – Take part in an evening of pure indulgence at the Prince George Hotel on March 7. Decadence is a night filled with delectable dishes and luscious desserts, paired with fine wines from Nova Scotia and around the world.
