From October 5 to October 9, 2015, Dee Appleby will be leading a unique Art, Food & Wine Tour of Nova Scotia.
Dee Appleby teaches art history at the Seniors College Association of Nova Scotia and has written two books on Nova Scotia’s contemporary landscape artists. She has conducted numerous tours visiting museums, art galleries, concerts, ballet and opera, in major cities of Canada and the United States. Art, food and wine have together, played a hugely important role in the development of many great cultures; Italy, France and Spain come immediately to mind.
Today, our own Province of Nova Scotia has developed a rich artistic tradition, with burgeoning culinary and viticultural excellence to match. Combining visits to our beautiful historic towns and their many art galleries, restaurants, picturesque landscapes and breathtaking winery and vineyard settings will create an unforgettable experience.
