Burger Week 2015

From March 19 to 25, select restaurants in Halifax will be serving tasty burger specials in celebration of The Coast’s Burger Week. Burgers are priced at $5, or over $5 with a donation made from each burger to Feed Nova Scotia. Find out what your favourite Taste of Nova Scotia restaurants are serving for Burger Week:

Three cheeses, bacon, steak sauce, mushrooms, spinach, crispy onions and corned beef mayo.

Chives Canadian Bistro – The Steak Tartare Burger $21
Broiled beef tenderloin and braised beef short rib burger with aioli, mushroom ketchup, fried shallots, parmesan, arugula and a fried free-range egg served with duck-fat truffle fries. $5 donation

Fiasco Restaurant – Molé Chicken Burger $20
Chorizo & 1800 Tequila Aioli, Roasted Corn & Red Cabbage Slaw. Served with hand-cut fries & house-made ketchup. $5 donation

House-made burger topped with pesto aioli, portobello mushrooms in demi glace, provolone cheese and roasted peppers.

Oulton’s beef, house made bacon-dijon mayonnaise, Bulwark apple pork belly jam, buttermilk crispy shallots, Oka cheese, tomato & leaf lettuce on a challah bun. $5 donation

Grilled Atlantic salmon fillet, miso mustard butter, pea sprouts, pickled red onion, wasabi mayo on a sesame nori bun. $2.50 donation

Bacon & beef patty, smoked ham, applewood cheddar, pineapple chutney and coconut aioli.

Seasons by Atlantica – Long Yard $16
Six-inch spiced lamb loaf, homemade lamb peameal bacon, labneh, compressed cucumber and watercress on pan fried focaccia bread. $5 donation

Stillwell Bar The Schmancy Burger II $15
Six-week dry-aged Getaway Farm beef, pickled shiitakes, Béarnaise sauce, horseradish mayo with a side of Tokyo fries. $1 donation

Tempo Food + Drink – Tempo Burger $14
Oulton’s beef, aged cheddar, smoked tomato ketchup, candied bacon, fried onions, tempura pickle and choice of side (fries, salad or soup). $5 donation
