Below the Salt Distillery is an international award-winning distillery producing spirits of exceptional quality and distinction. Captain Gregg has been distilling for forty years and through his extensive travels as a sea captain is privileged to have honed his craft from those who generously shared their knowledge in the Caribbean and Europe.
Our grains are floor malted the traditional way at Horton Ridge in the Annapolis Valley. Our honey is sourced locally. Our dehydrated cane syrup is certified organic from Central and South America.
We produce everything in house from scratch. No shortcuts. No imported spirits. We are just a two-person distillery making ultra small batch sippers that hold their own alongside the best of the world.
