Nova Kraut Natural Ferments
Nova Kraut Natural Ferments are created on a small, family run farm in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia. We had been fermenting for our family for 10 years, when in 2020 we decided to pursue our farm dreams. Five years later, Nova Kraut is in stores and markets across Nova Scotia.
Although we have expanded production since we began, we stayed true to our roots. All of our vegetables are grown in Nova Scotia using organic growing methods. We continue to do all of the processing ourselves and ferment in small, 50lb batches. No water, vinegar, preservatives or pasteurization methods are used. Just the right balance of fresh vegetables and sea salt, a process that has been used for centuries. The final product is a delicious, crunchy, probiotic rich super-food.
