Wild Blue Rum Runner

This berry sweet creation celebrates all things local! Made with Nova Scotia amber rum, maple syrup, and wild blueberries.

Ingredients

1 oz. Nova Scotia amber rum
1 oz. blueberry liqueur
0.5 oz. Nova Scotia maple syrup
1 tbsp. Nova Scotia wild blueberries
3 to 4 oz. soda water or sparkling water
Garnish cinnamon stick

Directions

Makes: 1 serving

  1. Place wild blueberries (fresh or frozen) into a cocktail shaker with the rum.
  2. Muddle well.
  3. Add blueberry liqueur and maple syrup and stir to incorporate.
  4. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and top with soda water or sparkling water.
  5. Garnish with more wild blueberries and cinnamon stick.
