Why do you love Nova Scotia?
Are you ready for your big break? Nova Scotia Tourism is looking for talented individuals to talk about what you love most about Nova Scotia – your favourite hidden gems, excursions and events. This is an amazing opportunity for all Nova Scotians to showcase their talents and share their personal thoughts on why Nova Scotia is the best place to be this summer. Of course Taste of Nova Scotia is particularily proud of our culinary tourism, so feel free to share your favourite culinary adventure or product!
On March 14 the My Nova Scotia regional tourism campaign will launch with a television commercial featuring Percy Paris, Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism, encouraging all Nova Scotians to audition. Twenty-one lucky winners, selected for their ability to express all of the great things Nova Scotia has to offer in a compelling and enthusiastic manner, will star in the 2011 tourism campaign in Atlantic Canada this summer.
If you don’t have access to a video camera or a webcam – don’t worry – they’ll come to you! The Tourism Division will be hitting the road in the My Nova Scotia audition bus beginning April 4th in Yarmouth to encourage people to audition.
