J. Willy Krauch & Sons
Willy Krauch came to Nova Scotia from Denmark and began smoking fish in the tiny village of Tangier. Since 1956, his family has been smoking the finest Atlantic salmon and mackerel in their traditional Scandinavian-style smokehouse.
In 2015 Comeau’s Sea Foods purchased the J Willy brand as a way of preserving a long standing tradition. Comeau’s has a history not unlike J Willy Krauch’s, making it a perfect fit.
Willy developed a method of smoking that’s uniquely his own. Over the years, he earned reputation for selling only the finest quality smoked Atlantic fish.
