Savour Food & Wine Festival

The Savour Food & Wine Festival is a series of unique culinary events designed to celebrate our cultural interest and passion for great food, wine and beverages. The festival is celebrated throughout the winter months showcasing some of Nova Scotia’s great restaurants, mixologists, breweries, wineries and other beverage merchants.

Dine Around: Month of February

Running for the month of February, three course prix-fixe menus are offered at participating restaurants for the price of $25, $35, or $45 per dinner. Book directly with participating restaurants. Taste members participating in Dine Around include: Five Fishermen Grill, Five Fishermen Restaurant, Gio, Harbour City Bar and Grill, McKelvie’s, Primal Kitchen, Stories, TEMPO Food + Drink, Lot 6, Waterfront Warehouse and The Press Gang.

IMBIBE: A Cocktail Event – February 11

A collection of Nova Scotia’s top mixologists brought together to create legendary cocktails for guests to Imbibe! With 25 restaurant/bars plus the NSLC, you’re in for a night of delicious sample size cocktails – more than 40 to be exact – hors d’oeuvres and music make this event the perfect evening out!

Rare and Fine Wine Event – February 26

Quench your wine palate with Rare and Fine Wines from Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Napa Valley, Piedmonte, Veneto, and Tuscany – over 40 wines, rated above 90 points and above by the world’s major wine publications. Bishop’s Cellar staff will be on hand to help you purchase wines. Tickets: $119 or $169 + HST. Location: Compass Room, Casino Nova Scotia.

Craft Beer Cottage Party – February 27

New to the Savour Food & Wine Festival, check out & enjoy the Craft Beer Cottage Party. Head back to those long summer days by the lake at our Craft Beer Cottage Party! Sample beers from local and nearby craft breweries while you play a game of washer toss; or chill in an adirondack chair and listen the sweet live band. Tickets: $50 or $65+ HST. Location: Halifax Seaport Farmers’ Market. Taste members participating include: Garrison Brewing Co., Bulwark Craft Cider and Rare Bird Craft Beer.

Savour Food & Wine Show – March 10

A delicious food & wine event – over 70 restaurants, wine and beverage merchants create delectable samples allowing you to taste the night away. Tickets: $85 or $99+ HST. Location: World Trade and Convention Centre, Halifax, NS.

Taste restaurant members participating include: Cabot Links, Chives Canadian Bistro, Five fishermen Restaurant, Five Fishermen Grill, Fox Harbour, Gabrieau’s Bistro, Gio, Grand Banker, Harbour City Bar & Grill, Le Caveau, Fresh 21, Paddy’s Pub, Scanway, Tempo Food + Drink, The Press Gang and White Point Beach Resort.

Taste beverage members participating include: L’Acadie Vineyards, Avondale Sky Winery, Bishops Cellar, Devonian Coast Wineries, Domaine de Grand Pre, Garrison Brewing Co., Ironworks Distillery, Luckett Vineyards, Muwin Estates Winery, Nova Coffee, Planters Ridge and Propeller Brewery.
