Taste of the Month: Lobster
It’s summertime in Nova Scotia! If you’re looking to enjoy local lobster, you’ve come to the right place. Nova Scotia lobster is world-famous, and if you haven’t tried it here, you’re missing out on a true culinary experience.
Want to know how the locals eat? We won’t be shell-fish, we’re sharing our lobster love:
Explore the Lobster Trail: Back for another year, the Nova Scotia Lobster Trail is your guide to cracking open your sense of adventure. On the trail you’ll find traditional lobster dinners, lobster rolls, lobster poutine, lobster tacos, lobster dip, and even more! Nowhere else will you get fresher lobster or more talented chefs creating delicious and locally-inspired dishes for your satisfaction.
Lobster at Home: So much lobster and so little time. We have many locally-inspired lobster recipes for you to try at home. NEW: Don’t miss our Lobster Roll and Lobster Dip recipes this month… pair them with a bottle of Nova Scotia Tidal Bay and you’re shore (pun intended) to be the life of the party.
Shop Local: We appreciate what our land provides for us. Nova Scotia has some of the most fertile lobster fishing grounds in the world. So this popular crustacean is still the lifeblood of many of our fishing communities. Support our producers by picking up fresh Nova Scotia lobster when in season from Fisherman’s Market, Clearwater Seafoods, Evan’s Fresh Seafood, Masstown Market or Arichat Seafood Market.
Explore: Check out the Nova Scotia Lobster Trail website for events and experiences for the whole family to enjoy. Make sure to share your experiences with us on social media using #NSLobsterTrail
