About Petite Rivière Vineyards:
Petite Rivière Vineyards is an old-world style winery producing elegant, complex red wines and natural fruit ciders. Petite is located on the unique slopes of the South Shore’s drumlin hills, which are ideal for grape growing. The French-designed winery is surrounded by lavender gardens and a stone terrace, with sweeping views of the vineyards and country side. You would think you were in Provence!
Enjoy wine tastings, relax on the terrace or indulge in our “Ultimate Tour & Wine Tasting,” which runs daily at noon (advance tour reservations are required). The winery hosts a variety of music concerts, art shows and special events throughout the year, and the venue is available for private parties, weddings and corporate rentals.
Petite Riviere was awarded “Best Red Wine in Eastern Canada in 2016”. The winery produces several wine series including; The Drumlin’s Red Wine Series (our Estate Reserve Wines), The Chandelier Series (Sparkling Fruit Wines), Fortified Wines and Petite’s signature series of red, white and rosé wines. The line of ciders are from 100 per cent NS apples, blueberry, rhubarb and strawberry. There are three cider brands including Sid’s Cider, Stutz Cider and ShipBuilder’s Cider, and proudly won Cider of the Year for Eastern Canada. Our wines and ciders are sold at our wine shop, the NSLC, local farmers’ markets, and many local restaurants.
