L’Acadie Vineyards Offers New Organic Wine Clubs
L’Acadie Vineyards in Gaspereau Nova Scotia is offering a suite of new wine clubs with the largest selection of certified organic wines in the province

Gaspereau NS, September 2, 2020: L’Acadie Vineyards is adjusting to the shifted online marketplace with a new website offering online shopping and wine clubs of its popular certified organic wines delivered on scheduled dates. Their estate vineyard in Gaspereau was the first organic planting in Nova Scotia and their entire portfolio of wines is certified organic, the largest in the province. “We farm our vineyards organically to protect our enhanced terroir and its living soils, but also so that our children and future generations can live in a healthier environment. We’re committed to terroir authenticity and product integrity, and we adore the boutique, ultra-premium, hands-on winemaking of our family business.” says Bruce Ewert, founder & owner.
The new wine clubs can be joined at https://www.lacadievineyards.ca/Wine-Club and include three options – The L’Acadie Club with winemaker selected wines that showcase a variety of white, rose, appassimento red and sparkling wines, Sparkling Club with winemaker selected wines from our portfolio of renowned sparkling wines, and Star Club for members who wish to choose their own club wines. Members get shipments in May, August and November and receive benefits such as exclusive club access to small lot, pre-release and library wines, and complimentary tastings. Shipping is free in 2020 and 2021.
The winery also adjusted earlier this season by not hosting large crowds and instead offering intimate visitor experiences that better reflect their wine’s quality image. Visitors benefit from trusting a safe social distance, contact tracing, the traceability of certified organic wines and an in-depth education about the winery and traditional method sparkling wines that first brought international awards to the region. L’Acadie Vineyards was established in 2004 by well-known Canadian winemaker Bruce Ewert and his family in Gaspereau, Nova Scotia. Bruce has been a professional winemaker for thirty years for wineries in Canada’s Okanagan Valley and Niagara Peninsula as well as in Sonoma, California, and Australia’s Hunter Valley and Padthaway and now Canada’s newest wine region, Nova Scotia. He has been head winemaker responsible for 20,000 cases to 400,000 cases and has made over a half a million bottles of traditional method sparkling in his career.
His knowledge of traditional method sparkling wines is extensive and Bruce has helped with the development of sparkling wine programs for other wineries in the region as well as wine standards for the region. L’Acadie Vineyards is the first winery in Nova Scotia to release award winning traditional method sparkling wines and is the first certified organic winery in Nova Scotia.
