The time has come to ride the Tidal Bay wave!  Wines of Nova Scotia celebrates the launch of the new vintage of Tidal Bay each June with a series of events and this year is no different. Lovers and discoverers of Nova Scotia’s signature white wine are invited to taste their way through all the delicious 2023 vintages of Tidal Bay. Experience all the different notes that makes each winemakers take on Tidal Bay exciting and special to their winery.

Tidal Bay Tasting and Education Session

Curious to learn about all things Tidal Bay? Well, you’re in luck! Enjoy a delightful tasting journey with sommelier Amy Savoury, as she assists you in exploring the nuanced flavours and characteristics of seven distinct Tidal Bays.

Taking place in Acadia University’s Garden Room, guests will explore the nuanced flavours and characteristics of each Tidal Bay.

When:

• Saturday, June 8 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Also, Sunday, June 9 from 1:30-3:00 p.m. & 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Where: 611 Main St. The Garden Room at Acadia University. Wolfville, N.S.

Details: Ticket price includes a 1.5 hr sommelier led tasting, paired with light bites and guests can take their sampling glass home with them.

12 Tides

Get ready for the ultimate return of 12 Tides! Taking place at Pier 21 in Halifax, your ticket purchase includes a tasting of all available Tidal Bay wines, a tasting glass to take home, light food pairings, and music.

When: Friday June 14, 2024 from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Where: Pier 21 – 1055 Marginal Rd, Halifax (map)

Tickets: $85 per person – Buy now

Details: Ticket price features 2oz samples of Tidal Bay from participating wineries, food, live entertainment and a souvenir tasting glass to take home. Must be 19+ to purchase tickets. 12 Tides is in partnership with Magic Winery Bus and Liquid Assets.
