June is Tidal Bay month in Nova Scotia! Described as the very essence of Nova Scotia in a glass, Tidal Bay wine is cool, crisp, lively and aromatic; the perfect pairing for our local seafood or for socializing with friends.
Each June, Wines of Nova Scotia celebrates the launch of the new vintage of Tidal Bay with a series of fun and informative events. This year’s launch kicks off on June 9 with the 12 Tides event in Halifax and will run through till June 18 with Tidal Bay Tasting and Education seminars, as well as themed menus and events hosted at wineries and restaurants throughout Nova Scotia

12 Tides Event
Join Wines of Nova Scotia in welcoming back 12 Tides! With 14 Tidal Bays to sample this year from wineries all over the province, indulge in tasting all 14 Tidal Bay wines accompanied by light food pairings and music. Plus, a tasting glass you are able to take home!

Tidal Bay Tasting & Education Sessions
Join sommelier Amy Savoury as she takes guests through a 1.5 hour tasting session with 7 different Tidal Bays on the Wolfville waterfront. Guests will have the opportunity to compare and contrast various Tidal Bays, while learning about what makes Nova Scotia’s Signature Wine unique. Wines will be paired with light bites provided by Founders House Dining & Drinks.

- Saturday, June 17, 2023: 3 p.m. — 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, June 18, 2023: 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
