Hope Blooms
Since 2008, the youth at Hope Blooms have grown their own food and provided food gardens and mentoring to support more than 100 families in our community.
We designed and operate an award winning off-the-grid greenhouse; operate a commercial kitchen that includes community suppers, local celebrations and social entrepreneurship training. The youth’s first social enterprise was Hope Blooms salad dressing made from herbs grown in our greenhouse.
All proceeds from our dressings fund post-secondary scholarships for youth at Hope Blooms to continue their education. 100% of the youth are the first generation in their family to pursue post-secondary education.
