Eggnog Smoothie

One of the many fun ways you can enjoy Valley Flaxflour and Eggnog over the holidays. This smoothie is bound to become a festive favourtie, perhaps even part of a new family tradition!
Ingredients
| 2 cups (500 ml) | Eggnogg (we suggest: Fox Hill) |
| 1/4 cup | Valley Flaxflour Golden flax flour |
| 1 | Golden Delicious apple (try: Noggins Corner Farm Market, Stirling Fruit Farm or Scotian Gold) |
| 1 tbsp | Bourbon, or Ironworks rum (optional) |
| Crushed ice (optional) | |
| Whipped cream and cinnamon (optional) | |
Directions
- Combine eggnog, flaxflour and apple in a blender until smooth
- Optional: Add crushed ice and bourbon, as desired
- Optional: Top with whipped cream and cinnamon
- Serve with a straw
