Happy March Break, Nova Scotia! It’s time to pack up the car and gather your family for some exciting adventures. If you haven’t started planning your week or simply don’t know what to do, don’t fret! We have our top 5 March Break activities right here.

5: Dragons & Dinner

This March Break take advantage of the “Here be Dragons” exhibit at the Museum of Natural History. Explore the myth of dragons through culture, literature, folklore, religion, paleontology, history, science, and live animals. Make an afternoon out of it and drop by a restaurant nearby for dinner: Gio, Seasons by Atlantica, The Stubborn Goat or Lot Six.

4: Break at the Beach

Get ready for a jam-packed week at White Point Beach. This week is filled with s’mores, bonfires, night hikes, chocolate, swimming and so much more! White Point will be sure to keep your family busy with fun events all week long!

3: March Break Madness

From March 10 to 19 head over to Atlantica Oak Island Resort for their March Break Madness week. The March Break package includes breakfast for two adults and two children, as well as both indoor/outdoor activities that the whole family can enjoy: an indoor swimming pool, s’mores, bonfires, etc.!

2: Pottery & Pizza

If you’re looking for something fun to do with the kids then head to Quinpool Road in Halifax. Enjoy creating and painting pottery at Clay Cafe, then grab a slice of pizza at Bramoso Pizzeria and Beer Bar or Heartwood. Sounds like a successful March Break day to us!

1: March Break & Maple

Get a large group of family, friends and kids together and head to Sugar Moon Farm! These camp visits include a 2 to 4 hour experience, guided educational tour, buttermilk pancakes, sugar-on-snow, self-guided forest hikes and so much more! This visit will keep both you and the kids busy all day long.
