Let the Cochrane family show you how to properly grow seeded plants, while also learning how to make the right growing medium, when to start seeds, how to grow, how to avoid diseases and other common problems and how to keep transplants healthy and happy. Delectable Desserts

Each February, in honour of African Heritage Month, Delectable Desserts features what their Black Futures Cake/Cupcakes. All profits from the sale of these products are donated to local initiatives working to better the future for Black youth in their community. This year, they’re offering their Black Excellence cake (a chocolate cake layered with passion fruit curd and chocolate mousse, topped with chocolate ganache and gold painted chocolate hearts) and a feature pack of cupcakes, with flavours such as strawberry chocolate, raspberry vanilla, passion fruit chocolate, mocha, funfetti vanilla, and triple chocolate. Make sure to stop by their bakery in Dartmouth to pick up these cakes and help support this meaningful fundraiser!

Dory Mates’ Seafood Shop

Dory Mates’ Seafood Shop has a new location! Join them at 242 Lincoln St. in Lunenburg to find delicious, locally-sourced seafood. Dory Mates’ Seafood Shop will still carry all the delicious food you’ve come to know and love, while also serving up delicious café items as well. Swing by to congratulate them on the new space this week!

Chain Yard Urban Cider

We hope you like spice! Get ready for Blue Lobster Public House’s take on the Nashville Chicken Sandwich. This sandwich features a beautiful buttermilk brined fried chicken breast coated in Blue Lobster’s special spices and dipped in hot chili oil.
