Chef Terry Vassallo and chef Konrad Haumering from Trattoria della Nonna and King’s Plate in Lunenburg have created a fantastic locally-inspired tasting menu highlighting the famous fresh white truffle from Alba. Trattoria della Nonna Menu
Uovo – Italian style ‘just scrambled’ free range eggs with Grana Padano and fresh sliced white truffle. (2 grams)
Tagliatelle – Fresh hand made egg pasta with truffle butter, cream and fresh white truffle slices. (3 grams)
Risotto – Caramelized celery root, prosecco, duck stock and Grana Padano. (3grams)
Carne – Seared striploin of AAA beef, with leek and fontina fondue shaved white ftuffle. (3 grams)

King’s Plate Menu
Gourmet Chiffonade – Micro greens tossed in white truffle-vinaigrette with smoked salmon tartar on a buckwheat-blini.
Oxtail Clear – With a touch of aged sherry, white truffle ricotta ravioli.
Grilled Tenderloin of Beef – Center cut beef filet mignon seared and served with demi-glace of Madeira and white truffles, pommes parisienne, medley of vegetables.
Stuffed Quail – With stuffing and white truffles on polenta with tarragon served with natural jus, medley of vegetables.
