Halifax Burger Bash is back from April 3-12, 2025, bringing ten days of delicious, creative burgers for a great cause! Several Taste of Nova Scotia members are serving up must-try creations, read on to find out who! Whether you’re craving classic flavours or bold new takes, there’s a burger (or two) waiting for you!


Garrison Brewing Company

Win Big with Garrison Brewing Company during Burger Bash! During Halifax Burger Bash (April 3-12), you could score $1,000 in Garrison Brewing gift cards. Pick up a passport at any participating Burger Bash restaurant, visit at least 3 locations and have your server stamp or initial the restaurant description; and drop your completed passport in a ballot box at any participating restaurant, Garrison Brewing (1149 Marginal Road) or the Oxford Taproom (6418 Quinpool Road). For a bonus entry, order a Garrison beer with your burger at any participating location and ask your server for a bonus ballot. The winner will be on drawn on April 17, 2025 and contacted by email.

Chain Yard Urban Cidery – Long Walks On The Beef – $25.00 ($2 to Feed Nova Scotia)

Join Chain Yard Urban Cidery for a truly Atlantic land-meets-sea experience! Their juicy beef patty is topped with a scallop cake, maple bacon, lemon pepper aioli, Gruyere, red onion, and fresh asparagus slaw, all sandwiched between a brioche bun and served with hand-cut fries and famous house-made remoulade. Come for the burgers, stay for their eight house-made cider taps, four rotating local beer taps, as well as a wide variety of local non-alcoholic options. Gluten-free options available!


Coldstream Clear Distillery – Hot Honey Peach – $20.00 ($2 to Feed Nova Scotia)

Indulge in Coldstream Clear Distillery‘s house-made crispy breaded chicken burger, pan-seared to perfection and topped with melted cheddar cheese. Drizzled with their signature hot honey peach sauce made with Coldstream Clear’s Dark Rum Honey, it’s the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Topped with fresh sliced red onion, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy coleslaw, all nestled in a toasted brioche bun. For a gluten-free option, enjoy it wrapped in crisp lettuce. Their burgers are available individually, with the option to add a side of your choice for an additional charge. Visit them at Dartmouth Crossing in the Village Shops. Open every day at 12pm.


Evan’s Seafood – Poboy à la Oysters – $15.00 ($2 to Feed Nova Scotia)

Enjoy five oysters prepared crispy and deep-fried in a hot dog-style bun and dressed with Evan’s spicy tartar sauce, a lemon slaw, pickled onions, and mixed greens. Add fries for $5. Now open seven days a week.


Lot Six Bar and Restaurant – Brown Butter Cheeseburger – $10.00 ($1 to Feed Nova Scotia)

4-oz ground brisket and grated butter patty, malt vinegar, brown butter roasted garlic aioli, house pickles, and cheddar cheese on a buttered brioche bun. Classic diner-style burger with butter infused directly into the patty for the ultimate decadent burger experience. Malt vinegar and brown butter give their roasted garlic aioli the perfect extra kick. House-made pickles and sharp cheddar complete the perfect cheeseburger, all nestled in between a buttered brioche bun. Add fries $6, located at 1685 Argyle, available Wednesday through Sunday, 4PM-close.


Seaport Social – Southern Fried Chicken Burger – $24.00 ($2 to Feed NS)

Hot buttermilk chicken, dill-jalapeno remoulade, pickles, and crunchy cabbage slaw on a buttered sesame seed bun with your choice of side. Seaport Social offers upscale, casual dining in a lively atmosphere located on the lobby level of the Westin Nova Scotian, positioning them as the hub of the Seaport District.


Sou’Wester Gift Shop & Restaurant – The Sou’Wester Seafood Burger – $22.99 ($2 to Feed Nova Scotia)

Their homemade panko-crusted patty is made of Atlantic lobster, fresh haddock, shrimp, and scallops. Piled high with fresh, crisp lemon dill coleslaw, tomato, and pickles on a Kaiser bun; served with chips.


The Carleton – The Headliner – $16.00 ($1 to Feed Nova Scotia)

Atlantic beef patty seared to perfection and topped with rich, melted classic cheddar. A smoky, tangy house BBQ sauce adds a deep, bold flavour, while crispy onions bring the perfect crunch. This burger delivers a standout performance with every bite.


The Press Gang Restaurant & Oyster Bar – The South Canada Press Gang Cheeseburger – $25.00 ($2 to Feed Nova Scotia)

6-oz ground Wagyu beef patty on brioche bun, melted South Canada cheddar and tomato bacon jam, plated with crispy fries.
