Deep family history and an adventurous modern endeavour brings you Coldstream Clear.
The story begins with Simon Giffen, the first Giffen ancestor to arrive in Nova Scotia. He came to Halifax from Northern Ireland and practiced his trade as a successful distiller. Little did Simon know, the distilling tradition would be revived nine generations later.
Today Coldstream is a family owned and operated Nova Scotian beverage company rooted in community, memorable experiences, and exceptionally great-tasting drinks. Since 2015, our mission has been to create true-tasting beverages to share and enjoy on any occasion. What began as a hobby business has grown into a diverse portfolio of spirits, liqueurs, ready-to-drink beverages, and beer.
