The Carleton
Celebrating 16 years this year, The Carleton is one of Halifax’s most popular downtown destinations. Delivering fresh, locally inspired, elevated comfort food, and a top selection of Nova Scotia craft beers, wine, and spirits along with special culinary events, The Carleton was nominated for the 2024 and 2023 Community Engagement Award by the Restaurant Association of Nova Scotia (RANS).
The Carleton is also widely known as one of Canada’s premier live music venues and is currently nominated for a 2024 East Coast Music Award for Venue of the Year. Housed in Halifax’s oldest commercial building, The Carleton was originally a residence built in 1760.
