January 15: Craft Beer and Local Food Celebration. If you love craft beer, local food and good times, this event (organized by Local Connections) is for you.
January 24 to 31: Taste of Nova Scotia Chowder Week. Make chowder at home using local ingredients (with tips from our chefs) or taste different styles of chowder at restaurants across Nova Scotia. Stay tuned for 10 days of contests and chowder tidbits!
January 29 to Mar 5: Savour Food and Wine Festival. The Savour Food & Wine Festival is a series of unique culinary events designed to celebrate passion for great food, wine, and beverages.
January 30: Sip ‘n Shuck. Taste our local aquaculture products prepared in standard, not-so-standard, and unimaginably delicious ways – paired with our award-winning Nova Scotia wines.
January 31 to February 8: Nova Scotia Ice Wine Festival. Eight Nova Scotia Wineries celebrate at Grand Pre Winery for two amazing weekends. Events include wine and food pairings, pig roast, bonfire and raclette in the courtyard, photos on the Icewine carpet and snowshoe hikes.
