What’s Cooking June 27 to July 4, 2017?

June 27: Haskapa Tastings at Stirling Fruit Farms

June 28: The Canteen’s “Little C” Opens
Dartmouth called and The Canteen answered! They’re bringing back their take-out in a big way with the opening of Little C. Now there’s even more reason the love this local downtown Dartmouth hot spot.
June 29: Haskapa Beauty & Bliss
If you want some TLC before your Canada Day weekend festivities, we’ve got the thing for you. Haskapa is hosting a Beauty and Bliss event with 2 hours of facials, treatments and yoga to relax your mind, body and spirit. More info: Haskapa
July 1: 150 CANADA DAY
O Canada, it’s been 150 glorious years and we here in Nova Scotia want this to be your biggest and best birthday yet. White Point Beach Resort is throwing a beach party to celebrate with fun for everyone and lasting all day long. They have everything from crafts, adventures, games, bonfires and of course cake! Roast marshmallows and watch the fireworks on the beach to celebrate Canada Day in Nova Scotia.

September 29 & 30: Savour as many oysters as your heart (and stomach) desires at the annual Halifax Oyster Festival. Two delectable days of high quality local shellfish to sip, sample and enjoy.
