June 25: Tidal Bay Wine Tasting Adventure Tour

Your first stop is Blomidon Estate Winery for an exclusive tour of the cellar followed by a wine tasting paired with local cheese and charcuterie. After that, visit Domaine de Grand Pre for a private vineyard tour and wine tasting., followed by a lobster lunch in the vineyard by Chef Jason Lynch of Le Caveau, a Top 20 Winery Restaurant of the World. Your adventure wraps up at Gaspereau Vineyards with a side-by-side tasting of three different Tidal Bay wines, topped off with dessert paired with Nova Scotia Maple wine! June 25: Planters Ridge Anniversary Tasting

June 26: Hands On: Curry in a Hurry!

June 29: East Coast Craft Beer Festival

ATTENTION all beer lovers! This coming Saturday is the East Coast Craft Beer Festival. There will be so many local brews for you to try, ranging from old favourites to new ones! Propeller Brewing Co., Saltbox Brewing Co., Shipwright Brewing Co., Sober Island Brewing Co., Tatamagouche Brewing Co., and Wayfarers’ Ale are just a few from the long list of local breweries attending this event! Meadowbrook Meat MarketHeartwood Restaurant, and The Cake Lady will also be there to offer you tasty food to accompany your beverages.

June 30: Celtic Sessions at the Brewery

Saltbox Flight Beer

Visit Saltbox Brewing Company in Mahone Bay to enjoy an afternoon of Celtic Sessions! Sip some incredible craft brews and take in the live music. The performance taking place from 2 pm – 4 pm, is led by Scottish fiddler Eilidh Buchanan and musicians from around the area, who play at each of Saltbox’s Sunday sessions. Get jig-gy with it!

The Wines of Nova Scotia (July 2): Obladee, A Wine Bar is excited to offer its first Wines of Nova Scotia course at their location. It is a 6-week, in-depth course designed for the beginner wine-enthusiast looking to develop their knowledge and understanding of Nova Scotian wine, Nova Scotian terroir and the food that goes with it!

Rudder’s Outdoor Concert (July 6): Put your dancing shoes on and head to Rudder’s! Tickets are selling fast for this “Beer For Iguana” event on the waterfront. Get your ticket for $20 and it will definitely be worth it.

Lightkeeper’s Seafest (July 16): Step aboard a fishing boat in Yarmouth, welcomed with Nova Scotia oysters and wine. Tour the coast dotted with fishing communities en-route to Cape Forchu Lightstation where your sunset feast awaits, complete with live Acadian songs. Savour mussels and seafood-stuffed lobster, expertly paired by your host chef and sommelier with award-winning Nova Scotia wines.
