Gluten Free S’mores Sundae

Celebrate the summer season with a twist on the classic campfire favourite S’more! This S’more sundae is gluten free and can be adjusted to include your choice of  toppings.

Ingredients

1 scoop each Skye Glen Chocolate & Vanilla Gelato
2 School House Gluten Free Gourmet S’more cookies
1 Waffle Cone or Bowl 
4 TBSP Chocolate Sauce (see recipe below)
Chocolate Sauce Recipe
1 cup Hope Blooms “Hot Cocoa Boys”Hot Cocoa Mix
4 squares  Local Chocolate of your choice
1.5 cups Skye Glen Whipping Cream

 

Directions

Chocolate Sauce

  1. Pour cream in a saucepan on low heat
  2. Fine sieve hot cocoa mix and local sea salt
  3. Whisk until dissolved
  4. Continue to whisk as mixture heats up slowly and thickens
  5. Keep on simmer until it coats the back of a spoon
  6. Turn off heat and let cool
  7. Can keep in refrigerator up to a week in a covered, airtight container

Assembly 

  1. In a bowl or waffle cone, crumble 1 cookie
  2. Pour on chocolate sauce
  3. Scoop 1 scoop of each gelato on top of cookie
  4. Crumble 1 cookie on top
  5. Pour your desired amount of chocolate sauce on top
  6. Enjoy!
