Skye Glen Creamery
We are Matt and Meghan Brosens, and we farm in Skye Glen with our daughters Sophie and Heidi, and our son John!
Growing up with a dream to farm, we saw an opportunity on Cape Breton Island. We’ve continued to follow our dream and have expanded our operation to include a creamery. The milk, cheese, and gelato sold in our creamery comes from our Jersey’s milk.
We milk a small herd of Jersey cows. Jersey milk is unlike any other, as it’s higher in calcium, protein, and butterfat. Our cows are grass-fed, grazing on our pastures.
Come visit our self serve shop and experience our cash operated vending machine where you can get delicious dairy, from Squeaky Curds to Brie to chocolate milk or even swag!

Still remember my first visit, (Strait Engineering) Meghan just coming to the barn with one girl in wagon and holding the other by the hand. A visit still on my list to do.
