While you can find fresh Nova Scotia lobster all year round in our province, summer is a great time to embark on the Nova Scotia Lobster Trail and explore. With 44 stops spread out over all seven regions of the province, it’s the perfect reason to get out, and eat this tasty, local, Nova Scotia staple.

Below are just a few of the awesome participants on this year’s trail and the lobster items they have to offer.

Cape Breton

If a traditional lobster dinner is what you’re after – look no further! McCurdy’s Dining Room in Baddeck, stop number 41 on the NS Lobster trail, serves theirs in style.

Halifax Metro

Stop number two on the lobster trail is Chives Canadian Bistro located in downtown Halifax. Pictured above is their lobster risotto served with braised leek, sweet pea, and pecorino risotto – one of the multiple lobster dishes they have available on their menu.

South Shore

Located on the Lunenburg waterfront is stop number 17  – the Old Fish Factory. Grab a seat on their patio, cool off with a local beverage and enjoy these delicious lobster tacos!

Yarmouth & Acadian Shores

If a traditional lobster dinner served right next to the ocean is what you’re after, head down to the Argyler Lodge & Restaurant in Yarmouth, stop number 27 on the Nova Scotia Lobster Trail.

Northumberland Shore

Not much can beat the joy of indulging in a homemade lobster roll filled with delicious Nova Scotia lobster meat! The Snow Queen in Antigonish, stop number 33 on the lobster trail, has this and other yummy lobster dishes for you to try.

Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley

Stop number 31 brings us to Masstown Market where you can enjoy a delicious, traditional lobster dinner at the Lighthouse restaurant. Head down during the summertime to grab a seat outside on the patio!

Eastern Shore

If you’re looking for a great excuse to head to Sheet Harbour look no further! Stop number 44, The Henley House, offer this delicious lobster roll and more on their menu!
