We’re celebrating LOVE LOCAL month at Taste of Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia is home to exceptional culinary experiences and products. Make sure to spread some love to your local culinary community this month!
February 18 to 24: Truro & Bible Hill Burger Week
Truro and Bible Hill Burger Week is back for another year! Try 8 different burgers for $10 with $2 of every purchase going to the Truro Homeless Outreach Society. Must try Taste burgers: Bistro 22 and Nook & Cranny Brew Pub.
February 22: Savour Show
For the 15th annual Savour Show there will be over 80 of Nova Scotia’s finest restaurants, wines and beverages to try. Spend the evening tasting delectable dishes and drinks. Some participating Taste members: Agricola Street Brasserie, Avondale Sky Winery, Boxing Rock, Gio and Kiju’s.
February 22: Trivia Night
Crystany’s Brasserie has started having weekly trivia night’s every Thursday. Special includes: Nachos with a glass of beer or wine for $20.
February 24 and 25: Nova Scotia Icewine Festival
It’s a Nova Scotia Winter Wine Adventure! Featuring wines from across Nova Scotia, paired with thoughtful edibles from local chefs, the Icewine Festival is an incredible way to spend an afternoon (or a weekend) tasting, touring, and experiencing Nova Scotia Wine Country in the winter.
February 25: Maple Brunch
Acadian Maple’s maple brunches are back! On February 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. head over to indulge in hearty pancakes with mixed berries, maple sugar whipped topping, Acadian Maple syrup and maple sausages. Future maple brunch dates: March 4, 11 and 18.

Don’t miss out on special menus at participating restaurants during Savour Food & Wine Festival’s Dine Around. The Press Gang is featuring a three-course menu: First course: scallops or oriental salad. Second course: beef short rib with mac and cheese or crispy duck wings. Third course: seasonal crème brule or lavender ice cream.
Nova Scotia Icewine Festival (March 3 and 4) – The Nova Scotia Icewine Festival is the premier winter wine festival hosted in the heart of the Annapolis Valley.
Maplicious (March 17) – We’ve tapped into our roots and are pleased to celebrate the sweet liquid gold at Maplicious on March 17th at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market.

FULL HOUSE Craft Beer Fest 2018 (May 5) – The flagship event for Nova Scotia Craft Beer Week is returning for its fourth year, showcasing a huge selection of beers from all around the province.
Devour! Fox Harb’r Weekend Getaway (May 18 to 20) – Fox Harb’r Resort is delighted to host once again the Nova Scotia created food & film festival, a celebration of culinary and cinema, with an added splash of comedy. Hosted by CBC personality, stand-up comic, actor and chef Ali Hassan.
East Coast Cider Festival (June 16) – That’s right folks, the East Coast Cider Festival back for another year. 2018 will be bigger and better, there will also be the option to choose between one of two sessions.
